Good news for Hindi medium students, UPSC may remove CSAT paper

  This is good news for Hindi speaking students who are preparing for UPSC (Union Public Service Commission).  The UPSC has proposed to the DoPT (Department of Personal Training) that the CSAT paper, also called aptitude paper, be removed.  UPSC believes that it is a waste of time.  Let me tell you, it was included in 2011.  After four years, due to heavy opposition it was changed to only qualifying paper.

  The CSAT paper consists of comprehension, logical reasoning, decision making problem solving question, general mental ability, basic math and English test.  Students who are from Hindi medium are constantly opposing this paper.  He says that this is step-motherly treatment of students with Hindi medium.  Because, students who are from English medium and science background get benefit.  Let me tell you, there is paper-2 in CSAT prelims.  In this paper, the candidate only has to qualify.  The qualifying mark is 33 percent.  If we look at the reasons behind opposing CSAT's Hindi medium, then in 2018, only 8 students were successful in Hindi medium examination.  Students say that they ignore them because of Hindi medium.

 The UPSC has also suggested that those who do not appear in the examination by filling the form, should be punished.  The way to punish will be that filling the form will also be considered as an attempt.  Let me tell you, more than half of such students are those who fill the form, but do not join the defense.  General category candidates can appear in UPSC exam 6 times.

हिंदी मीडियम छात्रों के लिए खुशखबरी, यूपीएससी हटा सकती है सीएसएटी के पेपर

   हिंदी भाषी छात्र जो यूपीएससी (संघ लोक सेवा आयोग) की तैयारी कर रहे हैं, उनके लिए यह अच्छी खबर है।  यूपीएससी ने DoPT (डिपार्टमेंट ऑफ पर्सनल ट्रेनिंग) को प्रस्ताव दिया है कि सीएसएटी पेपर जिसे एप्टीट्यूड पेपर भी कहा जाता है, उसे हटा दिया जाए।  यूपीएससी का मानना ​​है कि यह समय की बर्बादी है।  बता दें, इसे 2011 में शामिल किया गया था।  चार वर्षों के बाद भारी विरोध के कारण इसे केवल क्वालिफाइंग पेपर कर दिया गया।

   सीएसएटी पेपर में कॉम्प्रिहेंशन, लॉजिकल रिजनिंग, डिसिजन मेकिंग प्रॉब्लम सॉल्विंग क्वेश्चन, जनरल मेंटल एबिलिटी, बेसिक मैथ और इंग्लिश की परीक्षा होती है।  जो छात्र हिंदी मीडियम से होते हैं वे लगातार इस पेपर का विरोध कर रहे हैं।  उनका कहना है कि यह हिंदी मीडियम वाले छात्रों के साथ सौतेला व्यवहार है।  क्योंकि, जो छात्र इंग्लिश मीडियम से और साइंस बैकग्राउंड से होते हैं उन्हें फायदा मिलता है।  बता दें, CSAT प्रीलिम्स में पेपर -2 है।  इस पेपर में परीक्षार्थी को केवल क्वालीफाई करना पड़ता है।  क्वालिफाइंग मार्क 33 प्रति है।  CSAT का हिंदी मीडियम के विरोध करने की पीछे के कारणों पर गौर करेंगे तो करेंगे कि, 2018 में केवल 8 छात्र हिंदी माध्यम से परीक्षा में सफल हुए।  छात्रों का कहना है कि हिंदी मीडियम की वजह से वे उनके साथ अनदेखी होती है।

  यूपीएससी ने यह भी सुझाव दिया है कि जो परीक्षार्थी फॉर्म भरकर परीक्षा में शामिल नहीं होंगे, उन्हें दंडित किया जाएगा।  दंडित करने का तरीका यह होगा कि फॉर्म भरने को भी प्रयास माना जाएगा।  बता दें, आधे से ज्यादा ऐसे छात्र होते हैं जो फॉर्म तो भरते हैं, लेकिन पीरक्षा में शामिल नहीं होते हैं।  सामान्य प्रशिक्षण के परीक्षार्थी यूपीएससी की परीक्षा में 6 बार शामिल हो सकते हैं।
